Description

A figure from a sequential illustration of an anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) reconstruction surgery. The figure illustrates the intial steps of advancing the tendon graft into the femur. The ACL tightropes of the tendon graft are looped through the shuttle suture in the femoral tunnel; the shuttle suture is then pulled out of the femur in order to advance the tendon graft into the femoral tunnel. An arthroscope (not shown) is used to track the passing of the graft.
