Project Overview
Commissioned by Madrid Futuro, The State of the City report was prepared by the Business of Cities to provide an ‘outside-in’ assessment of how Madrid is currently rated and regarded by the rest of the world.

My role in this project involved designing the overall layout of the report and creating custom data visualizations, while maintaining consistency with Madrid Futuro and The Business of Cities branding guidelines. You can access the full report published online here:

My Process
  • Reviewing existing brand guidelines, previous benchmarking reports, and datasets
  • Developing initial design layouts for the report, including the report cover and key page templates
  • Sharing initial design concepts and work-in-progress with the client, making revisions based on their feedback
  • Finalizing the complete design and layout of the report, including custom graphics and data visualizations
  • Preparing the report for digital distribution (in both English and Spanish)
