  • Understanding the purpose of the interactive map and the specific use cases
  • Obtaining data spreadsheets from the research team and reformatting it to match the data requirements of Datawrapper
  • Creating multiple maps and adding buttons/filters to allow multiple map views
  • Reviewing functionality and usability, refining the interactive map based on feedback from the research team and external advisors
